The deadline for the next newsletter
is 5/16.
Liz Geers proposed that we consider
emailing the News Letter to our members that have internet access.
The costs of printing and postage are on the rise and the majority
of our members have access to the internet. Presently it costs the
chapter 86 cents to mail a 12 page newsletter and e-mail costs nothing.
After some discussion, Barb Ogden made a motion that the News Letters
be e-mailed, through the remaining of this year, to those members
that have e-mail addresses. Members without e-mail shall still receive
the news letter by regular mail. Delia Larkins seconded the motion.
A vote was taken by a show of hands. There were 44 votes for and
0 votes against. The motion passed. The procedure will be that when
the e-mailed news letter arrives the member will then reply "GOT
IT". This way Liz will know it was received.
Corrections to the directories were
made.
